That’s Freddie McGregor with the Roots Radics Children’s Chorus with part of their song, “Three Little Birds,”on a CD called Reggae for Kids (from Raz Records) — the first album of this up-tempo, Jamaican music meant especially for children. And what a debut recording it is, with songs by such island favorites as scat-singing, six-foot-six-inch tall Eek-a-Mouse, the “cool ruler,”Gregory Isaacs; Brigadier Jerry; Peter Broggs; and King Yellowman, who reggae-raps his way through that old standard, “This Old Man.” Here’s how he starts:
